Meet Allen D. Wilson, CPCU, ARM

Allen in life: He is married (Lisa) and has two sons ages 19 and 22.

He enjoys working with his children, sports, reading, politics, traveling and adventure, last of which was successfully climbing Mt. Rainier in 2009, Kilimanjaro in 2006 and trekking in 2007 to the base camp at Mt. Everest in Nepal.

Allen at work: He is immediate Past-President and serves on the board of the Houston Association of Insurance Agents, is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas, the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, the Society of CPCU and The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers.

Allen in the community: He serves in various capacities at the Susan G. Komen for the Cure including being one of the top personal and corporate fundraisers. He is former board member of The Houston Drug Free Business Initiative, the Galleria Area Rotary, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston, the Entrepreneurship Institute of Houston. He is a Wood Badge assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 599 and attends Memorial Drive United Methodist Church.
